favourite opened its doors in December 2006, specializing in gifts and accessories from independent Canadian designers.

favourite is owned and operated by Carol Hyslop. Originally from Ottawa, Carol moved to Vancouver in 1997, making her way to the North Shore in 2004. After a career in Visual Presentation with several large national retailers, Carol finally realised her dream of opening her own boutique.  

favourite is a showcase for the latest urban trends, bringing together up-and-coming and established local artists and designers under one roof, and providing our customers with one- or few-of-a-kind gift and accessory items.
